Steps to Bid

Step 1

How do I become a member?  How can I bid on auctions?  These are just a few questions we are asked.

The process to becoming a member is simple, you just need to provide a little information.  To begin you need to register with us.  Be sure to have a photo of your drivers license or passport ready, as it is required for registration.  At the end of the registration form is where you will choose your membership level, we have three memberships to choose from (HERE). We accept credit card for membership payment.  After this step has been completed you should place a deposit and be able to start placing your Bids.

Step 2

To have a bidding active account you must have a security deposit in place with AutoBidBroker.  Contact AutoBidBroker by phone to place your security deposit it is 100% refundable.

From Copart.com, IAAI.com you will find the vehicle/s you wish to bid on and either place a pre-bid or wait for the auction to go live and bid on it using IAA’s live bidding appointed agent.  Copart and IAA have many auction locations throughout the US by using a search tool you can find vehicles across the US  location near you.

Pay & Sign

Step 3

You won the vehicle and are ready to pay and sign the documents.  AutoBidBroker will notify you that you won the vehicle and it is ready to be paid.  AutoBidBroker will send you an invoice for the purchased vehicle.  The vehicle must be paid before 4:30 p.m. EST the following day.  Vehicle purchases can only be paid with bank wire transfer.  The invoice you receive from AutoBidBroker will have the information you need to make the wire transfer.  After you make the payment AutoBidBroker will send paid invoice notice and the documents that you need to sign via email.  All payments and documentation come through AutoBidBroker.  The vehicle title will be sent from the Auction to AutoBidBroker.  We will process the title and send it to you.  Your vehicle is ready for pick-up after the Auction shows it to be paid.

Transportation

Step 4

Your vehicle is ready for pick-up after you have paid and the Auction shows it as ready to be picked up. You will take your paid invoice to the auction yard and they will allow you to pick-up your vehicle.  If you have a transportation company picking up for you then you will provide the documents to your transportation company.  You have two business days after sell date to pick-up the vehicle before storage fees will be applied each day it is left in the auction yard. Copart and IAA offers shipping on purchased vehicles. You can transport vehicles anywhere in the US and internationally.
